Meet the author

Denise Nicole loves writing stories for a variety of age ranges, starting with children under the age of five, up through young adult and new adult novels. She has been writing her own stories since she was a very young girl and finally took the next step to publish her work to share with the world.

May I Please Have a Hug? is her first published book. It is a children’s picture book that follows the story of a lonely cat named Charlie who goes looking for a hug.

The Secret Life of Debby-Sue is a middle-grade chapter book series centered around the character of Debby-Sue and her secret fox friend. This series explores the journey of growing up, making mistakes, and becoming the best version of yourself. As of September 2024, there are five books in the Debby-Sue series.

Underground Hocus Pocus is an autumn and Halloween inspired story about a young girl who finds herself trapped in the world of an underground witch.

When not writing, Denise loves to read, run, bake, and get as many puppy hugs and kisses as possible.
